FairCompare compares package quantities and prices using normalized units. Scan a label or import a photo, review the extracted information, and compare compatible products.

Retailer searches

Amazon Japan and Rakuten searches open in your browser. Enter the confirmed price, shipping, discounts and quantity manually. Version 1.0 does not automatically fetch retailer prices.

Getting accurate results

Check all recognized text, currency, package quantities, tax and shipping before relying on a comparison. Camera scanning needs camera permission and a physical device. Saved comparisons remain on your device.

Automatic contributions (build 3 onward)

After your one-time permission, newly saved product and price entries upload for operator review. Photos, raw OCR text and location do not upload. Settings → Central product database shows sync status and controls for stopping uploads and deleting uploaded entries. Offline requests retry while the app is open; keep the app until deletion is confirmed. This is not cloud backup or cross-device restore. Builds 1–2 do not upload entries.
